About the immersion Program The French program is a complete immersion experience designed to accelerate language acquisition while exploring the French culture. The program entails three components: classroom instruction, home-stay accommodations, and socio-cultural and recreational activities. Students will improve in the areas of French listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. The teaching methods and activities are based on the student needs. The accommodations are for 8 people maximum. 3 bedrooms, 6 people, double beds plus an apartment that could accomodate 2 more people. There is a swimming pool, fire place and modern facilities. The VILLA is surrounded by a baker, grocer, butcher, restaurants and boutiques. Also a café …and more...
Social activities
You will enjoy the region, culture, sights, fooood...
The program provides socio-cultural activities. The activities are organized with the participant's interests. This is the opportunity to interact with locals and also within the group.

Our program offers clients 70 hours of language instruction,14 days, based on a functional an communicative approach comprised of -- oral presentations --one-on-one interviews with feedback --educational excursions ($) additional.-- private lessons are available upon request at an extra cost.
Airfare
It
is not included in the price.
Making your own arrangements, gives you more flexibility to arrive in Europe earlier, stay later, gives you the opportunity to visit other regions or countries etc... The closest airport from the Villa is Marseille.
Dates for payment
A deposit of 300.00$ dollars will hold your place with the balance , due two months prior of the departure date.
 La cuisine de la Gouiranne | Normally, the accommodations and transport are paid well in advance, so refunds are not possible unless there is someone on the waiting-list, or if you are able to find someone else to take your place. If you have insurance, which I strongly suggest you to have, (both, air and land ) you will be able to recover what you have paid, if you have to cancel due to illness or an emergency. We also recommend health coverage. |
 La salle à manger | We all share expenses for the “kitty”, groceries, gas, telephone line etc...) about 20$ per day. We contribute on arrival, stock up on groceries, croissants etc... and when funds get low, we do it again...The cars are full of gas and are filled-up from the kitty as needed. |
Restaurants and shopping are your responsibility.
We will meet you at the Marseille airport as this is where the majority of people arrive. If you arrive at the train station in Avignon, Please let us know in advance. The airport is about 90 minutes from the villa and 40 minutes from the train station.
Traveler's cheques , either Canadian, US. Dollars or Euros can be bought at banks. There are also numerous cash machines in Provence and your bank card will work with most of them.
Don't forget your bathing suit.

There is a lot to see, like historical villages to visit, vineyards and
châteaux to see, wine to taste and delicious food to eat. Tennis,
golf, horseback riding and hot-air ballooning are available nearby.
A schedule will be made according to the needs. Beginners, intermediates,advanced. Usually, intensive French program is given from 9 to 12 o'clock. From 1 o'clock to 6 o'clock recreational activities or/and socio-cultural, determined by the students and the teacher. |  Le moulin de Goult |
